Testing a prototype of the Red Rovr virtual reality motion system and the ST1080 HMD in Skyrim. Sensors on the player map real life movements into game controls, so the player is able to control the character simply by turning their head and walking. Additional controls such as menus and weapons are controlled with an XBox 360 controller in the hand. The system keeps the player within a real-life fixed boundary the size of a football field while the in-game character is able to roam the virtual environment freely.
