Big congrats this morning to Alyson Hannigan and hubby Alexis Denisof as they've welcomed their daughter into the world. And what could possibly be cuter than the apple-cheeked Alyson becoming a first-time mom? Giving birth on her birthday! Best. Present. Ever. Also, the most painful.

In less exciting news, they named their little girl Satyana. Don't parents think about school yard taunts when naming their kids? I mean seriously -- Satyana? I can get Satan and Saran Wrap from that without even trying. Hopefully kids will be nicer in 10 years then they were during my school years. However, the little 8-year-old bastard who made fun of my pants on the subway this morning leads me to believe they aren't.

This is also good news for fans of "How I Met Your Mother" because with the exception of the scene above -- where Lily became a hot dog eating champion -- they have done a piss poor job of concealing her growing baby bump. Last night's basketball/guitar combo was a new low!

I don't watch HIMYM, so I didn't know she was expecting and they were 'hiding it'. Seems kinda silly when they do that. I noticed they did that with "Life"...which I think would have been a good story line, considering they just had the character hook up with the 'boss'. huh.

I love that show too...does that mean it's cancelled?

Shiny!  My sister had her first baby on her birthday as well.  Makes it easy to remember...
