Finally got around to watching this one. I like that they had the conversation between Sophie and Eliot about what MMA is/isn't. I have had that conversation many times with people. They want to call MMA "human cock fighting" or some such. They look at the fighters as people with now way out but to fight, but as I've gotten to know a lot of local fighters, they are just people doing what they love. I've seen a 16 year old HS student and a 57 year old Boeing engineer get in the cage and come out smiling even though they lost their fights. I truly don't understand what they feel, but the closer I get to these guys, the closer I am to understanding.
Who knows, once I start my Jiu-Jitsu classes I might find myself wanting to learn more and end up testing myself in the cage someday. Probably not, but who knows?
