There's a night vision walk-through as well as a normal one.  The latter is pretty much just black. 
Probably not worth a plane ticket just to see the haunted house.

The sound effects are awesome.

My art teacher used to put together a Haunted House for the local science center and have his students volunteer to help. It was a lot of fun putting it together.
