Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

McGee looks like a skeleton.
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Sean Murray has lost more weight. oh well.

I'm a little bored with the start of the season. 1st ep was good.

McGee looks like a skeleton.

I thought the same thing. Has he had health issues?

Pearl@32

Last night's episode with Anthony DiNozzo Sr. (Robert Wagner) was really good.

Here's what I found on Sean Murray though:

Q: After watching all the ''NCIS'' TV series, you can get attached to each of the characters. The new season shows Sean Murray to be very thin. Is this a health problem or just a preference of his? He is almost too thin.

A: It is his preference. On his Twitter posts Murray explained that the weight loss came from ''14 months of no alcohol and almost no sugar. Ate strictly organic. . . . You can actually see me gradually lose the weight over the 24 [episodes] of season 7; a pound every week or two.''  http://twitter.com/SeanHMurray

I read about this the other day in Parade I believe. I think he overdid it a tad.

Season 8, Episode 12: Recruited
18 January 2011
A petty officer's recruitment session at a college fair comes to a fatal end, prompting the NCIS team, accompanied by Dr. Mallard's predecessor, to solve his murder.

Dr. Mallard's predecessor will be played by Bob Newhart, whose performance creator Shane Brennan and Mark Harmon agree is Emmy-worthy. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Shane-Brennan-NCIS-1026578.aspx?rss=breakingnews&partnerid=imdb&profileid=01

Bob Newhart, who's starred and appeared in various television shows and movies throughout his long career will be making a guest appearance on NCIS.  According to EW, Newhart will be playing "Dr. Walter Magnus, a character who's described as a "shrewd, eccentric nostalgic" with a whole lot of charm."

Dr. Magnus is also a former medical examiner who "comes out of retirement to relive the magic — but something unexpected happens that catches Ducky (David McCallum) and the others by surprise."

Last night's episode drew the NCIS's largest audience ever, 22 million.

It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

This show is one of my favorites but to really enjoy it you need to watch it from the beginning. There is so
much personal background with the show and the characters that it would lose something if you didn't know
that. There are a lot of seasons so it would be fun one to grab on DVD and enjoy for a long time.
