Fillion has been represented in the Halo game series ever since he campaigned to do so, because he was such a huge fan (http://sciencefiction.com/2015/06/10/nathan-fillion-returns-halo-5-guardians/). Halo 3 introduced him, voice-only, as Gunner Sergeant Reynolds (yes, that's intentional). Halo 3: ODST had a 3D model of him playing a different character (I think AB and Tudyk also provided voices in this one). He sat out for Halo 4, but for the soon-to-be-released Halo 5 gets to be in the first ninety seconds of the game's opening scene :
