This gives me nightmares! As a Marine, I was on a training mission in Hawaii, we were playing war games with the army. I was my squads M-60 gunner... :gun1: anyway, during a live fire exercise my A-gunner (assistant gunner) didn't store our spare barrel properly and I ended up putting my hand on a, still glowing red, hot machine gun barrel. It stuck to my fingers and when I pulled my hand away, a lot of skin was left sizzling on the barrel.  :'(
